Fighting Gravity will be in the semi-finals on America's Got Talent on Tuesday, August 31. They are a group from VT, and Brian Lusher from King George is one of the members. Brian's parents, Ann and Paul Lusher, will be gathering with friends at Vinny's in King George for the results show at 9:00 PM on Wednesday (September 1) and have invited any/all Hokies to join them. They are hoping it will be a victory celebration, and that Vinny's will donate 10% of the receipts to the VTAA Fredericksburg Chapter Scholarship Fund. One more thing... Don't forget to vote for Fighting Gravity on Tuesday night! Go Hokies!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the game watching parties/fundraisers at Buffalo Wild Wings during the 2009-2010 football and basketball seasons. We received $305.51 through your participation during the football season, and $83.83 during the basketball season. Thank you to Buffalo Wild Wings also. Buffalo Wild Wings is continuing to help us through out the year by giving us 10% of your receipt all the time! Just drop your receipt in the VT box by the front door. The box is on the left side of the front door wall as you exit and is marked with a maroon VT on the side. Please tell all your friends about this even if they are not Hokies.
